The taste is strong, salty and savoury with that unique umami kick that really hits the spot when spread thinly on buttered toast. A little goes a long way, and when you get the butter to Vegemite ratio right it’s seriously comforting and nostalgic. It’s also surprisingly practical, lasting ages in the fridge and adding flavour to toast, sandwiches or even cooking. Definitely not for everyone, but for fans it’s a pantry essential that never gets old.

my daughter loves this on toast and in sandwiches. it works well by itself or with cheese. this container will last awhile in the pantry and is good value for money.
