Pros: • Super smooth, fibreless flesh – no annoying stringy bits getting stuck in your teeth like with some other varieties (looking at you, older KPs sometimes). • Smaller seed and big juicy cheeks mean way more mango flesh to enjoy – great value. • Sweet tropical flavour with a nice mild tang; it’s rich and refreshing without being overwhelmingly intense. Perfect ripeness gives that classic mango sunshine vibe. • Firm texture holds up well – eats clean whether you dice it for salads, blend into smoothies, or just eat straight with a spoon. Lasts longer in the fridge too without going mushy too fast. Cons: • Flavour is on the milder/sweeter side compared to punchier varieties like Kensington Pride or Honey Gold – if you love super complex, tangy depth, this might feel a tad “safer” or less exciting. • Skin’s vibrant red-blush looks amazing, but it can stain your hands/clothes if you’re not careful while peeling. Overall, this one’s a premium Aussie mango done right – reliable, juicy, and perfect for everyday snacking or throwing into brekkie bowls. Grown locally in Acacia Hills, you can taste the quality. These Australian-grown Calypso mangoes are a summer highlight, sweet, juicy and beautifully smooth. They have firm, mostly fibre-free flesh and only a small seed, so you feel like you’re getting plenty of tasty fruit in every mango. The skin’s bright yellow-orange with a lovely pink blush, and when they’re ripe they smell tropical and rich. Great fresh, in salads, smoothies or desserts, and they tend to keep on the bench a bit longer than some other types.
