I’ve been pleasantly surprised by Safcol Brisling Sardines in Springwater. The fish are small and tender, and packing them in springwater keeps the flavour clean and light without any oiliness. They work great on crackers with a squeeze of lemon or tossed through a salad. No overwhelming fishy smell, good nutritional value, and easy to keep in the pantry. A simple, quality product I’ll be buying again.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Lovely flavour, but the sardines are quite small. Usually the tins provide me with two serves, but there’s not enough. I think the contents are a bit ‘light on’.

This tin of Safcol Brisling Sardines in Springwater is a tasty, convenient, and healthy snack option. These Sardines are packed with nutrition, they are high in omega 3s and fatty acids, high in calcium, and high in portein. I like that they are wild caught Sardines, and so feel like a more environmentally responsible fish option. I also like that these tins last for a long time in the cupboard, they have a long shelf life, and can be eaten whenever convenient. They are also at just a couple of dollars a tin, a very affordable product. 5 stars!

I think these Safcol Brisling Sardines in Springwater 110g for their flavour and texture. I believe I've tried nearly every brand of sardine available in supermarkets in my local area and have found sole mar to be the best tasting, getting a little expensive of late, so I only buy when on special. I buy the next best brand in-between supermarket specials. Still, there is no doubt in my mind that Safcol is the best in my opinion.
