An easy washed pre packed lettuce variety. Lettuce is pleasant to eat and perfect for wraps, sandwiches or burgers. Eat soon after you open as tends to wilting quickly once bag is open, but apart from that its great!

Love the Butter Leaf Blend for its delicate buttery texture and mild flower. I also love the fact that the Butter Leaf Blend is an excellent source for Vitamins A & C and folate and also fat free and cholesterol free. The only downside for this Butter Leaf Blend is that it doesn’t stay fresh for more than a couple of days so it should be used within 24 hours. I have bought this Butter Leaf Blend many times only to find that many of its leaves have wilted and turned brown.

When you have a one person household you can end up with a lot of food waste. I can’t always get through a whole lettuce quick enough so I sometimes grab these bags. It’s not entirely economical regardless of which path though. I throw this into my salad spinner a a wash a couple of times before using.
