I bought this evaporated milk because it was the cheapest on the shelf and I had a recipe in mind. The ring pull came off the top perfectly but there was a tiny amount of spillage on the top of the can from recoil. It has a nice dark creamy colour when I poured it out into a saucepan. Today I’m making strawberry and cream ice-cream with it.

it's good for making homemade ice cream. we use them a lot. mixed with a bit of custard and normal milk to make an ice cream is incredible. I don't really know what else they use it for. but we use it for making ice cream only. never tasted it raw. so don't know how it tastes.

It is very creamy, has less fat than Cream, and cooks perfectly.
