I usually pick this up when I want something quick that still feels reasonably balanced. The chicken pieces are tender enough, and the cashews add a nice bit of texture, which sets it apart from other frozen chicken meals. The sauce is mild and slightly sweet, so it’s easy to eat but not very bold compared to takeaway Chinese food. Portion-wise it’s on the lighter side, and I often add extra rice. Overall, it’s a convenient, healthier option, just not very exciting.

this is the only instant meal of this healthy choice range that I really like. some if the others are ok, but all have capsicum, which doesn't like my gut! mostly there is enough chicken ninio it. I usually have 2at the same time & save 1/2 the rice for another time. I really like this 'meal' flavour especially as it has no capsicum! flavour is quite good, & usually has enough chicken on it. I usually have 2 together & save some of the rice for another time. I would love to have other flavours without capsicum for some variety.
