Pros: Convenience: Frozen prawns are readily available and require minimal preparation. Nutritional Value: I&J prawns are a good source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids. Variety: I&J offers different types of frozen prawns, including raw, cooked, and tail-off options. Cons: Allergens: I&J prawns may contain allergens like wheat, gluten, egg, and crustacean. Added Ingredients: Some versions may contain added salt and acidity regulators. Potential for Cross-Contamination: Some I&J products may be processed in facilities that also handle other allergens.

Picked up a pack of cooked and peeled prawns (tails off, thank god – no mess!), and I was honestly stoked. Super handy if you’re flat out and don’t wanna fuss around in the kitchen. Just chuck ’em in a salad, wrap, or even a cheeky prawn sanga, and you’re good to go. They’ve got a nice snap to ’em – not rubbery like some of the cheap stuff. Tasted fresh too, like they weren’t sittin’ in the freezer for yonks. I had mine with a bit of avo and lime – dead set delicious. Would I grab ’em again? Too right I would. Perfect for an easy feed, especially when it’s too hot to cook. Solid 9/10 – no tails, no dramas!

These are so simple to use straight from the bag. No peeling or cutting the tails off. Straight into a stir-fry or curry for a mid-week, easy, family favourite meal.
