The Woolworths RSPCA Approved Chicken Stir-Fry is a convenient option for anyone wanting a quick, protein-heavy meal without a lot of prep. The pre-cut chicken pieces are a good size for stir-frying and save a fair bit of time compared to trimming and slicing a whole chicken breast yourself. In terms of quality, the chicken is generally fresh and cooks evenly. It browns nicely in a hot pan and stays relatively tender if you don’t overcook it. Because it carries the RSPCA Approved Farming Scheme label, it’s also a better choice from an animal-welfare perspective than standard supermarket chicken, which may matter to some buyers.

I love these. during winter I have been cooking them in the slow cooker and then mixing with continental chicken rice. it’s great for a quick easy meal but also food prep. just add soy sauce!

i bought this by accident instead of chicken breast. i will never buy it again. it was extremely fatty, i had ti go though and remove the fat. not to mention that it was very expensive because it was pre-cut.

I tried the chicken stir fry from Woolies and it was actually pretty good for something so quick. The chicken pieces were tender and not dry, and the veggies still had a bit of crunch to them, which I liked. The sauce has a nice balance of sweet and savoury – not too heavy, so it doesn’t drown everything. It’s really handy when you don’t have much time; just toss it in the pan and dinner’s ready in under 10 minutes. Portion size is decent for two people with some rice or noodles. Perfect for an easy midweek meal without too much effort.
