I recently purchased a packet of Lebanese cucumbers from Woolworths, and here's my review based on my experience. Pros: Freshness: The cucumbers were incredibly fresh, with a crisp texture and vibrant color. They had a satisfying crunch, which made them perfect for salads or snacking. Taste: The flavor was mild, sweet, and refreshing, with less bitterness than regular cucumbers. It made them great for eating raw, in salads, or even in dips. Size and Shape: The Lebanese cucumbers were smaller and more slender than typical cucumbers, which made them easier to slice and perfect for garnishes or small bites. Packaging: The cucumbers were packaged well in a breathable plastic wrap, which helped keep them fresh longer. The portion size was also convenient for smaller households or single meals. Cons: Price: While the cucumbers were of high quality, they were a bit more expensive than regular cucumbers, which could be a downside for those on a budget. Shelf Life: They had a slightly shorter shelf life compared to regular cucumbers. After about 4-5 days in the fridge, they started to soften and lose some of their crunch. Occasional Wilt: A few of the cucumbers in the packet were a bit softer than expected, possibly due to minor bruising or packaging issues, but this was only a small percentage. Overall, the Lebanese cucumbers from Woolworths are a great choice if you're looking for a high-quality, flavorful cucumber.
