Bought the Gourmet Garden Lightly Dried Basil 10g from Coles. It’s perfect for adding a burst of freshness to your dishes. There are many ways of consuming it but I like to sprinkle it over my salads. The resealable packaging helps keep it fresh for up to 4 weeks. Only downside is that it is not cheap - $4 for 10g.

When you do not have time to cut your herbs manually this is a great go to. Conveniently cut up fine so it is easy to through into any dish such as soups or pasta dishes. What I also love about it is that it is very fresh and is full of flavour which you expect some packaged herbs to lose flavour, but this product does not. I have been using it for a while and can’ recommend highly enough.

I normally buy fresh basil leaves but there were none available at Coles today so I bought this product. I’ve Added it to a home made pizza and am very happy. Handy packaging as well.
