The siu mai is big and needs to be steamed for more than 15 minutes. If possible, using the bamboo steamer would be much better. I like having the siu mai with some soy sauce and sesame oil.

This dim sum is very good for breakfast. Our family will have them sometimes. It makes us less homesick.

tasty siu mai with a good pork and prawn flavour. Easy to prepare, juicy, and perfect for a quick meal or snack. Great to keep in the freezer and would buy again!

Thought I would try these as they were on special. Not as good as others that I have tried. Lacked flavour and didn’t really pack much of a punch.

We believe Asians might find this product sacrilegious as these are definitely not the kinds of Siu Mai we grew up with! However, we are happy to report that with an open mind, these are not half bad at all. Consider them as a fusion food perhaps? (We love Aussie dimmies with the same mindset.) These are savory and flavourful, and there are plenty in a pack to share. Steaming them makes an easy and quick meal. We do not have much to complain about, as we got them off half price and also as a booster product. We would probably not buy them at their original price though.

been having this since around 2018, recipe went downhill a bit but since improved. Personally I'm not the type of person opening packet for my dinner, would rather have about 4 pieces in microwave 1:45 sec for quick breakfast
