I like Tassal Smoked Tassie Salmon 250g for its freshness and high-quality. I buy this Tassal sliced smoked salmon all the time. It tastes great in bagel with Brie and pickled red onion. It has great taste, is easy to peel & eat, and is not too oily. I normally keep some in the freezer for convenience & as a snack with cheese or cream cheese.

Tassal should be ashamed!!!! The smoked salmon is really good on top but underneath it is not edible and absolute rubbish. I have emailed them several times but they don’t listen. $21 a 250gm pack. I’ve had enough. No more. FOLLOW-UP 3mo · Again Tassal should be ashamed. Smoked salmon not edible with the bottom slices. They are rubbish. Packs that can’t be opened most of the time. Too tight. Very expensive and not what it used to be. I have now changed brands Purchased in Oct 2025 at Woolworths for $21.

Great tasting salmon perfect for breakfast with avocado on toast or added to dinner dishes such as pasta. We find the salmon slices are just the right size for a single serving per person. We enjoy the smokey flavour and the resealable package keeps the salmon fresh. Sometimes we find that initially opening the pack by tearing along the dotted lines doesn't always work, and we then have to restore to using scissors to cut further so we can pull apart the seal.
