I know a lot of people would disagree, but I have never seen the point of paying more than you need to for dry pasta, unless you want a particular shape or texture. To me it tastes exactly the same, so I buy the cheaper brands like these Coles Large Pasta Spirals. lam perfectly happy with them for $1 a packet, as I believe it's what you put on the pasta that is important.

100% durum wheat from Coles. Product of Australia. Easy to cook 500g pasta and 1 tops of salt to 5 L of boiling water. Cook for 9 mins! I always keep it in my kitchen stock.

I often buy this pasta to use in pasta bakes and to make up pasta dinners for the kids. it’s easy to cook and very inexpensive. I can always have some in a container in the pantry.

don't mention the product name inside the review. stay on point These large spiral pasta shapes are a ripper pantry staple: they cook up with a proper chewy, al dente bite (around 9 minutes if you don’t overdo it) and the twists hold onto sauce really well, so creamy or tomato-based dishes actually stick instead of sliding off. The flavour is mild and wheaty, which makes it easy to dress up with whatever you’ve got—veg, tuna, chicken, the lot. Only downside is if you push the cook time or let it sit too long, it can turn a bit soft and gluggy, so timing matters.

Good product. For the price point, this is an excellent pasta that’s great for a range of recipes and dishes. The only con is that you need to be careful of how long you cook it for, as it goes from slightly undercooked to mushy very quickly.
