Bean thread noodles are sold completely dried, usually packaged in small bundles inside plastic bags. You can find them in the "Asian Foods" aisle of major Australian supermarkets

Light and smooth with a delicate texture. Cooks quickly and works well in soups or stir-fries, making it a versatile pantry staple.

Double Phoenix Bean thread vermicelli are the only noodles I use for my sturfries and also when making Vietnamese cold rolls. I choose these because of their minimal carb content. I love that they are thin and that yo don't need to boil them. You just add them in boiled water from the kettle, leave them in the water for a few minutes and the strain them and add them to your stir-fry. I recommend them for their ease of use and low carb content.
