we use this to bake cake, it's out our the fridge for a few hours to room temperature,so when we mix with eggs it's nice creamy and frothy,not clumpy on the mixer beaters. not vary salty,it can be used on toasties as well.

Western Star is my favourite brand of butter, and I use it almost weekly in a variety of recipes. Some recipes call for unsalted butter, such as scones, cakes and other baking. This Western Star Unsalted Chef’s Choice Butter Block allows you to control the salt content of the dish, yet still retains the great Western Star flavour.

Great product and even though it is unsalted it still tastes great. Lovely to cook with also melts beautifully.

I’m not butter expert but this is my favourite for cooking with. Cheaper than some of the other brands and I always go the unsalted version so I can add and adjust my own salt as needed.
