Crumpets for breakfast are so good. Seven minutes in the toaster to get them a little bit crunchy, then plenty of butter and, while you can have anything on them you like, for me, it’s got to be Golden Syrup. They will go mouldy in warm humid weather so if you are keeping them beyond a couple of days, it is recommended to store them in the fridge. You don’t want them going mouldy and wasting them. You can buy crumpets at half price almost every week at one of the major supermarkets. Of course, this is the best way to buy them.

Once opened, they dont last long! I like these crumpets from Golden Baker, they are fresh, soft and fluffy. Can be heated on the microwave, air fryer or toaster, plus butter on top, tastes heaven. I buy them more when they are half the price, and freeze them, they can last for 2months.

Absolute favourite in our house. Golden crumpets are fresh and perfect topped with Vegemite and cheese, butter and jam or cut into cubes, covered with melted butter and cinnamon sugar and cooked in the air frye

Great value crumpets. When toasted crumpets are bubbly, soft yet crispy on the outside. They take on toppings well including spreads, or eggs. I also enjoy making crumpet airfryed garlic bread-inspired crumpets, or churro-inspired crumpets. Texture is great, and enjoyable for breakfast or a snack. Shelf life is short, but i habe found freezing them is the key to having fresh crumpets on hand. They thaw well once defrosted in microwave for 30sec.

bought some crumpets for breakfast. they were on special however check the useby date. mine was 2 days to close and got mould in it the second day. best to comsume asap. used well with butter and jam. warm it up in the mivrowave and meal is ready
