We use minced beef regularly to make meals such as pasta sauce, Mexican tortilla filling and lasagne. I usually buy Woolworths Heart Smart Extra Lean Beef Mince. As the name suggests, it is a lot lower in fat content than some other minced beef, and I like it because I'm not a fan of fatty meat. It's a couple of dollars more than others but to me it is worth it to not have to strain the fat out of the cooked mince. It is also in a 500g pack, which is the perfect size for almost all the recipes I use it for.
