Review of No Added Hormone Beef 5 Star Extra Trim Mince

This is a tricky review to write, because when you knowingly buy heart smart/extra trim mince you do know that the extra leanness of it likely means it will be drier. That’s exactly what my experience of this is. The compromise for health, means compromise on taste and texture. Not so great for meatballs or taco mince, but not too bad for something that is slow, or low heat cooked, like a rich chilli. 4 stars because it does live up to it’s name of extra trim, but looses a star because there was quite a lot of water loss which further compromised the tenderness of the mince.
