Coles pork and beef is a budget friendly mince. I make bolognaise sauce, lasagna and kids favorite tacos. There's more pork mince than beef. I also make a shepherds pie with the mince and rissoles. It has a 3 star health rating. No added hormones Cons... High fat content I have to drain it.

This really is a great combination of two essential meats. The pork adds a little more flavour to the beef and the combination lowers the overall fat content. I always use this pork/beef mince for spaghetti bolognaise, rissoles and really any dish that uses mince. I find it cooks better and tastes better as well. The percentage of fat is just right , so I’m not draining the fat after cooking before I add any sauces. 😀

I use mince to make my spaghetti sauce and mince is becoming so expensive so I thought I would give this one a go and it was fine, couldn’t taste anything but the beef flavour, it was a lot cheaper for 500g than a normal beef mince, taste was good with no excess water which some have had from time to time, will be getting this one in the future
