I found this lettuce quite small and wet inside. not the best I have ever bought from coles. I was disappointed considering the $4.50 price is expansive for me. usually I won’t pack more than $3 for lettuce. but fruit and veg lately has not been coming to my country town so I have been forced to pay higher prices. I would not buy it again unless on special.

Iceberg lettuce. At times it's affordable and can get anywhere all year round. It has an intense flavor, a watery crunch of each leaf, the lettuce cottains vitamin k and A, folate. Very healthy vegetable, great for salads, tacos, burgers, sandwiches. I also put them in wraps.

I bought this iceberg lettuce from Coles as it was on special and it is my favourite kind of lettuce. It is the lettuce variety I grew up eating and, although it might be a bit unfashionable these days, as well as not being as nutritious as some other varieties, l really like it. It is refreshing and tasty on sandwiches, in salads and in other dishes such as tacos.
