Mr Kipling Cherry & Almond Bakewell Tarts take me back to my childhood. My mum baked everything, these were a Sunday high tea treat. The buttery pastry with the almond sponge centre, raspberry jam and gooey icing is still pleasurable. Never a fan of the glacé cherry on top, yet I always eat it. readily available and often on special.  Pros: the pastry is the right thickness: the different textures combine well: less sugar today: 
Cons: the size has noticeably shrunk.

Really nice taste of England, we grew up on these so we enjoy them any time as a treat or snack, in Australia there are a little unknown still but there is nothing not to like. Down side is probably only its not healthy the same as any cake

Nice little treat to have with coffee when you have visitors. The icing tastes bit like marzipan, so personally I didn't like it.
