price is more expensive than other brands, only needs hot water, very convenient packaging style, low in calories but high in sodium, balance flavour with perfect amount of tofu bits and onions, taste better with cold leftover rice

This S&B Tofu Miso Soup is such a handy little pantry staple. It’s super quick and easy – just add hot water and you’ve got a warm, comforting bowl of miso soup in minutes. Perfect for when you want something light or need a quick side with a meal. The flavour is nicely balanced, savoury and not overly salty. The tofu pieces rehydrate well and the texture is surprisingly decent for an instant soup. Only downside is the portion is quite small, so it’s more of a side than a full meal. Overall though, convenient, tasty and great to keep on hand.

The miso soup turned out to be a pretty decent option for a quick meal. Some of the ingredients aren’t the healthiest — I’d prefer a more natural recipe. But overall, the taste is fine, especially when you just need a warm soup on the go. I liked the convenient packaging: easy to take with you on a trip or camping. Not a bad option, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Really comforting and quick to make — perfect for when I want something warm without any effort. The tofu pieces are soft, and the miso flavour tastes authentic enough for an instant soup. It can be a bit salty if you use less water, but overall it’s a solid go-to for a light meal or side.
