When I pick up a rotisserie chicken like this, I’m looking for effortless satisfaction. For a quick meal, served with veggies or pasta salad, hits the spot. The skin was golden, the meat tender in most parts, and it felt like I’d still cooked something meaningful without standing over the oven. I use the leftover meat to make wraps for lunch the next day which makes it stretch into two meals.

These roast chickens are perfect for a quick and easy meal. They save a lot of time cooking and are great in salads on break rolls or when looking to cut some time out meal prep. I do find the Coles roast chooks however, on the more soggy/greasy side, which is great in the sense that the flesh remains moist and tender but the skin and wings do not have that roast chicken crispness which I enjoy.
