This is the Chinese soy sauce, one of the most versatile seasonings in Chinese cooking, it adds saltiness, umami (savory depth), aroma, and color to a dish. It can be used in different ways, such as stir-fries, marinades, dipping sauces, and to bring out the natural flavors of ingredients. It could be adding a splash to stir-fried vegetables or noodles. I made some dishes with the light soy sauce. For example, Stir-fried bok choy with garlic and add splash of light soy sauce.
