My partner loves Spam and that’s the only reason I buy it . He loves it thinly sliced on his sandwiches for work . I can’t stand the smell and I know it has to have the jelly around it to keep it fresh while it is in the can but I hate having to touch the jelly. It used to be just under $5.00 a can but recently it has gone up a couple of times and is nearly $7.00 a can at the major supermarkets , which I think is expensive for what it is .

I grew up eating spam. They were branded as “unhealthy” because of they are high sodium and fat content, but they are so tasty. Already cooked, so easy to prepare either hot or cold in sandwiches or burger buns. Great for easy breakfast, diced into scrambled eggs or alone. Other brands are imitating spam but nothing compares, there is only one Spam.

This is a very versatile ham that can be eaten as a nibble in-between meals or create something of your own as a special dish. It's easy to cut into slices, and I love to prepare it in many ways. in a sandwich, with poached eggs on toast I love to prepare cut it and seal it in a small container so I can use quickly. comes in other flavours such as hot and spicy and lite.

This is a old family favourite that can be cooked and eaten in so many different recipes. We love to grill in a pan and add to our sunday breakfast ideas. great with eggs, sauce in a sandwich or how ever you enjoy the rich ham flavour a great quick and easy meal idea
