✅ What’s Good (Positives) 1. Flavorful & Spicy • The “Hot & Spicy” flavour gives a nice kick via a dedicated chilli sachet. • It comes with four seasoning sachets: sweet soy sauce, seasoning oil, spice mix, and chilli, which means you can adjust the heat & flavour to your liking. 2. Convenient & Portable • Comes in a cup, so you just need boiling water, wait 3 minutes, then drain and mix. • Good for on-the-go meals, work, or quick snacks. 3. Reasonable Portion Size • The 65 g (dry) cup is a decent single-serve amount. • When prepared, serving size is ~141 g. 4. Customisable • Because of the separate sachets, you can reduce or leave out the chilli or spice mix to make it milder if spicy isn’t your thing. ⸻ ❌ Things to Watch Out For (Negatives) 1. High Sodium • Very salty: when prepared, it has 845 mg sodium according to the Good Grocer. • According to CalorieKing, the prepared cup has 1022 mg sodium. • High sodium can be a concern if you eat these often. 2. Calories & Fat • ~315 Calories (when prepared) per serving. • Total fat is quite high: 15.5 g per serving. • Saturated fat is also significant: 5.2 g (as per some sources). 3. Allergens • Contains wheat (gluten) and soy. • May contain celery, crustacean, fish, milk, mustard. • Not suitable for those with certain food allergies. 4. Refined Carbs / Low Fibre • Primarily made from wheat flour, tapioca starch. • Fibre is low: ~1.6 g per serving when prepared. • Not very filling in terms of fibre — might lead you to feel hungry soon unless balanced with something else. 5. Taste / Authenticity Trade-off • Because it’s an instant noodle, the flavour is “instant” style — not exactly like a traditional freshly made mi goreng. • The spiciness might not feel super “natural”; it comes from processed seasoning, flavour enhancers, etc. 6. Plastic / Cup Waste • The cup packaging means single-use plastic or paper/plastic composite, which isn’t great for sustainability
