I don’t actually remember purchasing these, but I have drank them in the past. My partner loves them. I don’t particularly like them and I feel they’re quite strong and not something that I like but definitely value for money.

V Energy Drink gives a strong, noticeable boost and is great when you need a quick pick-me-up. The flavour is sweet and a bit artificial, but it does the job when you’re low on energy.

it’s different packaging to this photo now as they’ve updated it but they’re yum I drink them regularly. there’s bits of flavours but I prefer no sugar

Needing a little energy burst, then these are perfect. The 250ml can delivers, without needing a large amount. The flavour is hard to describe but a little orangey. This 4 pack is perfect for sharing.

Refreshing energy drink. Can’t tell what type of flavour it resembles but still has a nice taste similar to the original. Handy 4 pack and good size small cans for a serving. High in sugar though so don’t consume too much.

I will eat my partner. These are great and have great flavour. We like the blue ones as they have a little bit of difference and give you the great amount of energy buzz.

I’m really happy with this and would definitely get it again. The quality is great and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It’s easy to use, reliable, and feels like good value for money. I’ve had no issues at all and it’s quickly become one of those things I reach for regularly. Highly recommend to anyone considering it.

Possible “pros” (in certain contexts) • Temporary energy and alertness boost. A 250 mL can of V Blue contains caffeine (about 85 mg per can).  Caffeine can help increase alertness, reduce fatigue, and make you feel more awake — helpful if you need a short-term boost (e.g. for study, driving, work). • Convenient delivery of B-vitamins and stimulants. According to the ingredient list, V Blue includes B-vitamins (like B2, B6, B12, Niacin, Pantothenic Acid), along with stimulants/ingredients like taurine, guarana extract, and glucuronolactone.  Some people may find such drinks handy if they want a quick pick-me-up and might appreciate the vitamins (though the health benefit from those in the context of a sugary energy drink is uncertain). • Convenience and taste. For some, the flavour and the convenience of canned energy drinks make them a go-to when needing an energy boost but don’t have time or access to coffee or other stimulants. ⚠️ Potential “cons” / risks / drawbacks • High sugar content. A 250 mL can has around 34.6 g of sugar.  That’s a significant portion of the recommended daily sugar intake for many people, and frequent consumption can contribute to weight gain, increased risk of metabolic issues, and dental problems. Energy drinks in general — especially sugar-sweetened ones — have been linked with negative health effects when consumed habitually.  • Caffeine and stimulant-related side effects. The caffeine (plus other stimulants like guarana and taurine) can cause increased heart rate, jitteriness, insomnia or disturbed sleep, anxiety, or digestive issues — especially if consumed in excess or by people sensitive to caffeine.  For some with pre-existing heart or blood pressure conditions, energy drinks may pose more serious risks.  • Short-lived boost and “crash.” The energy and alertness boost is often temporary; once the stimulant and sugar effects wear off, you may experience fatigue, low mood or low energy (a “crash”). This is a common issue with energy drinks.  • Not a substitute for balanced nutrition or sleep. While vitamins are present, relying on energy drinks for energy isn’t the same as getting good nutrition, hydration and rest. Overuse can undermine healthy lifestyle habits. • Daily limit warnings and potential overuse risk. Product labelling for V Blue notes that consumption is “not recommended for children, pregnant or lactating women, or individuals sensitive to caffeine.”  Regular overconsumption of energy drinks (high caffeine + high sugar) has been flagged in research as potentially detrimental

Decided to try and mix things up with a V blue. Normally I opt for a sugarfree pink one or a standard green Beefa these are actually really nice.

V Energy Blue has a strong, sweet flavour with a fruity twist that’s different from the regular V. It gives a nice energy boost and is refreshing when chilled. The taste is quite sweet, so I wouldn’t have too many in one go, but it’s a great pick-me-up when needed.
