It's the pips. I'm not berry excited by berries, so I don't rush out to snap them up. Although I think having a bag of this around (especially in Summer) is a great idea, the seeds in it annoy the heck out of me. It feels like no matter what you use it in, you're battling with them and I just don't enjoy it. I used this to make some mixed berry nice-cream and it's there in the freezer when I'm in the zone. Having frozen fruit on hand is always so helpful, but I probably won't grab this bag again. I's go for something without seeds in it. Totally a personal preference. That being said - for the quantity and variety of fruit you get here, I do think this is good value.
