What’s Good (Positives) • Made with 100% Aussie chicken, no added hormones — so the “meat” part is real chicken breast. • Good source of protein — per 100g you get ~ 11–13g protein, useful if you need protein intake. • Convenient and easy to cook — you can bake or air-fry straight from frozen, which is useful when you’re short on time. • Tasty — kids and many adults like it — crumb coating gives nice crunch and flavour, many find them satisfying if you want a quick snack or meal. • Affordable & widely available — common frozen product in supermarkets, makes for easy meal or snack without complicated preparation. ⸻ ❌ What’s Not So Great (Negatives / Things to Watch Out For) • Processed food with added carbs/fat — besides chicken, there are flours, oils, starch, coatings etc. per 100g you also get ~ 13–14g fat, ~ 17–20g carbs — not as “clean” as plain grilled chicken. • Higher in sodium — each 100g pack contains significant sodium (~ 416–653 mg depending on pack) which can add up, not ideal if you watch salt intake. • Lower nutritional value compared to whole-food meals — little fibre, few vitamins/minerals compared to fresh chicken + vegetables; frequent/fussy eating may not support balanced diet. • Can be less healthy if deep-fried — frying increases fat and adds potential unhealthy compounds vs baking or air-frying. • Not ideal for special diets (gluten, soy, etc.) — contains wheat (gluten), soy and other additives
