The house avocados are usually a lovely tasting avocado. They come with a dark brown skin and if you can pick them when they are not too ripe they have a lovely farm flesh. They’re very easy to peel and go great as a smashed avocado.

It’s creamy without being slimy, dense without being heavy, and smooth without turning into baby food mush (assuming you catch it at the right moment of ripeness). There’s something deeply satisfying about scooping it out with a spoon—it’s like ice cream, but socially acceptable before noon. Flavor-wise, Hass avocados strike a near-perfect balance. They’re mildly nutty, slightly sweet, and gently grassy, with a richness that makes them feel indulgent even when you’re just sprinkling on a little salt and lemon juice.

avos are a bit out of season. seem to be hard for a long time but the flavour is okay once ripe.

I find the bass avocadoes that u buy in supermarkets to be very hard when u buy them and then within a day soft but lots of black spots inside. very average

I usually get the Aldi hass avocados now cause they’re way better than Woolies and Coles most of the time. They seem to ripen properly instead of going brown inside for no reason. Price is better too and you don’t feel ripped off when you cut them open. Still get the odd bad one but thats normal. Way more reliable so I don’t bother buying avos anywhere else anymore.

delicious and creamy, mostly perfect, sometimes brown inside if left too long to ripen. excellent smashed on toast and topped with everything bagel. so yum!!!
