“Well… they look lovely on top, don’t they? Nice and plump. But you know what they’re like—first few are sweet, then halfway down they go a bit soft. I’ll still eat them, obviously, but I wouldn’t pay full price again unless they were on offer. Fine for the kids’ cereal, though. Just pick through them first and use the wrinkly ones in muffins. Waste not.”
