Yellow peaches have a deliciously sweet and juicy flavour, when ripe they are soft. When unripe, nectarine flesh is quite hard and crunchy, and they are not as sweet but instead slightly tart. Peaches differ slightly from nectarines in that their skin is lightly fuzzy whereas nectarines are smooth
