3-Star Photo Review of Coles Apples

Red Delicious apples are okay, but they’re not quite living up to the name. The appearance is definitely a strong point — shiny, deep red, and picture-perfect. They look great in a fruit bowl. However, the texture can be hit or miss. Sometimes they’re crisp, but more often they’re mealy and soft. The flavor is mild and a bit bland and not as sweet compared to other varieties like Royal Gala.
