I’ve grown up with Vegemite, so it’s always been a staple in my pantry. Now that my one-year-old is starting solids, I’ve been giving him tiny amounts on buttered toast- and he actually loves it! I just do a light spread so it’s not too salty, and it’s been a quick, easy snack option for both of us. It’s definitely one of those flavours you either love or hate, but for me, it’s nostalgic and comforting. Packed with B vitamins, which is a nice bonus too. One jar lasts forever since you only need a little. Honestly, nothing beats warm toast with butter and a bit of Vegemite- especially on busy mornings.
