Toscano tiramisu is “made in Italy”, with a coffee-soaked savoiardi sponge base, a layer of mascarpone mousse with Marsala wine, then finished with cocoa dusting. It uses real elements of classic tiramisù structure: the ladyfingers (savoiardi), coffee soak, mascarpone crème, cocoa finish. However, it’s a packaged / mass-produced dessert, the texture or flavour might not reach the level of a freshly made, artisan tiramisù in a restaurant or Italian home.
