Royal gala is my favourite variety of apple - the sweet spot you could say. not too sweet like a Pink Lady or too tart like a Granny Smith. Nice and crispy/crunchy when you bite into them. unfortunately, these ones I purchased from Woolworths were a bit inconsistent - some were a bit powdery and not as enjoyable.
