Fresh and full of flavour — perfect for cooking, and the cloves are firm and easy to peel.

✅ What’s good about garlic • Good nutrients and health-boosting compounds — Garlic has sulfur compounds (like allicin) that are believed to give many of its health benefits. • Supports immune system — Garlic may help reduce severity or frequency of colds and flus. • May help heart & blood pressure — Eating garlic (or garlic supplements) has been linked to lowered blood pressure in people with hypertension. • May lower “bad” cholesterol (LDL) — Some studies suggest garlic can reduce total and LDL cholesterol, which may reduce risk of heart disease. • Antioxidant / anti-inflammatory effects — Garlic’s compounds may help fight oxidative stress and inflammation, which is good for long-term health. 👉 In simple food terms: if you use normal amounts of garlic in cooking or meals, it’s generally healthy and possibly protective for your heart, immune system, and overall body. ⸻ ⚠️ What are the possible negatives or risks • Bad breath & body odor — One of the most common side-effects of garlic (especially raw) is strong smell on breath or sweat. • Digestive discomfort — Eating too much garlic, especially raw or on an empty stomach, can cause heartburn, gas, bloating, or upset stomach. • Risk of bleeding / blood thinning — Garlic has blood-thinning properties. If you take blood-thinner medicine or have surgery scheduled, garlic may increase bleeding risk. • Possible skin irritation (if applied topically) — Putting raw garlic directly on skin (or in strong forms) may irritate skin or cause burns. • Allergy or sensitivity in some people — Rarely, some people may react badly to garlic — rash, digestive problems, or other allergy-type symptoms. ⸻ 💡 My advice for you (Zahid) • Use garlic in normal food amounts — a little in cooking or in meals — that tends to give benefits and avoids side-effects. • Avoid eating too much raw garlic (especially on empty stomach) — raw garlic is strongest but also more likely to cause digestive issues or odor. • If you have any health issues (e.g. on blood thinners, stomach problems) — be careful with high intake or raw garlic. • If you want benefits (heart, immune, etc.), simply use garlic as part of a balanced diet, not as a “miracle cure
