Worked surprising well for deep fry. I usually use vegetable oil to deep fry, but I didnt realise I had run out. Food was already prepared, and I needed something. This canola oil was sitting there. I never considered using for deep fry, as the label just says, for stir fries. Well, I will definitely purchase this and have it in my pantry, and use for deep frying again. This oil was able to maintain the heat levels I needed for my deep fry. And I also found it to be cleaner compared to my usual vegetable oil. As usually, when my deep frying session is finished, with veg oil, the oil will become really heavy and dark. I found this canola not to be the case at all, which is what I mean with being, 'cleaner'. Also, the lightness of the oil flavour didnt change the taste of my food, which is good.

i find it already added to foods such as oven-baked chips and frozen fish fillets but with a high smoke point of around 205 degrees canola is a good all-purpose cooking oil. It does become unstable after heating, so never reuse.
