While I understand and support the idea in theory, they are still ending up in landfill unfortunately. At least now they are making them more biodegradable but unfortunately that has also led to these new ones ripping apart extremely easily and the price has also increased to .15c each which for bags which are already torn apart when you receive your click and collect order or online delivery, or you are just doing your own in store shop, they don’t last long, and at .15c a piece they are too expensive. You sometimes don’t get a choice when during Covid online Click & Collect orders, but apart from that I would invest in other good quality reusable ones and save yourself the money.
