Hass avocados are the royalty of the avocado world — rich, creamy, and reliable most of the time. When you get a good one, it’s absolute perfection: smooth texture, nutty flavour, and ideal for everything from smashed avo on toast to guac that disappears in five minutes. Their biggest flaw? They seem to go from rock-hard to overripe in approximately 14 seconds, so timing is everything. But when you catch them at that magical ripe moment, nothing compares. Despite their mood swings, the taste and texture are top-tier. A solid 4-star fruit that’s unbeatable when it’s behaving itself.
