Easily my favourite apple, I love the tartness and crispness of a Granny. Great on their own , or an obvious choice for Apple crumble, or Apple sauce. Readily portable and little mess, these last a good while before the skin starts to turn waxy.

Always a popular apple in my house. taste delicious almost every time and is usually in perfect condition. Have had times where they have tasted powdery or when cut open was bruised but I think you get that with any fruit/veg at times.
