I have been buying Hercules freezer and sandwich bags for a long time due to their lower price and ability to do the same job as more expensive brands. When I saw they had a more sustainable version on sale (they are made of 25 per cent plant based plastic) I wanted to try them out as I do feel guilty about the plastic, even with some reuse. They are great. They seal well and have a panel on the front to write the contents and date of freezing. I use them to freeze portions of chicken breast bought in bulk, frozen veggies and portions of things like slow-cooked veggie curry when we don’t feel like eating it for a week!
