The Royal Gala Apples Loose for their texture which is always consistently grainy, and they’re usually sporting some type of bruise because they don’t travel well. They’re moderately juicy, which is fine, but they’re very sweet, like I need a glass of water afterwards to calm the taste buds.

Royal Gala has never been my favourite apple, but it's perfectly juicy and sweet enough. They're no Pink Ladies, but there's so much you can use these for. Fruit Salads, just standalone apples, apple pie....... You don't need me to sell Apples to you. You know how great they are. Just get 'em.
