I wasn't a huge fan of these sausages and I buy sausages all the time. The texture was not very good at all, usually sausage meat is soft and tender, this was like each individual pieces of mince meat packed into the sausage and made it gritty once cooked. I didn't enjoy the texture at all. The sausage held its shape and cooked evenly. Due to the caramelised onion, I think it added a sweetness to the sausage which took away from the taste of the beef.
