I absolutely love pineapple, so much so that I grew one last summer, and it was the best pineapple I’ve ever tasted, super sweet and juicy. I tried to keep the mother plant, along with its pups and the top of the fruit alive throughout winter. Sadly, they all died shortly before spring, and I have been looking for a topped pineapple this year to try to grow another. I love pineapple on its own in fruit platters, juiced, on pizza and in stir fries. This one will be used for a few of those things before I try to get the top growing into a new plant.
