I was pretty disappointed about the cost of this product. A silver one cost between $2-4.00 while a brass one cost between $7-8.00. It's quite a bit jump in price only for the colour. I purchased this to replace my silver chain, it looks much more clean and matches my door handle and lock. I love the extra security it provides.
