Much cheaper than buying the pre-made soft drink in bottles and it tastes the same. I also like with the syrup you can choose how much or how little to add so if you like it less sweet you can add a bit less syrup. Also saves on plastic bottles because the syrup comes in a glass bottle and then I use the reusable soda stream bottles. I don’t dilute it in the soda stream bottle, just pour a bit into a glass and top up with soda water. It’s good if you don’t drink soft drinks often because you just make one glass at a time. If I bought the bottled soft drink, it would go flat long before I would actually finish it, then end up wasting some of it. With the syrup there’s no wastage.
