Strong citrus flavour, very sweet. Has caffeine but doesn’t really feel like an energy drink. Good if you like soft drinks with a bit of a kick. Gas holds up okay after opening. Not something I’d drink often, but decent cold.

I don’t usually go for citrus soft drinks, but Mountain Dew Energised has kind of earned a spot in my fridge. I picked up the 1.25L bottle on a whim one hot afternoon, mostly because I wanted something cold, fizzy, and a little different from the usual cola options. What surprised me was how refreshing it actually was. The flavour is bold and a bit tangy—definitely more on the citrusy side, but not too sour or overpowering. It’s got that sweet kick you'd expect from a soft drink, and the caffeine gives it a bit of a lift, especially if you’re feeling flat in the afternoon. I’ve started grabbing it when I need a bit of energy but don’t want a full-on energy drink. The 1.25L size is great if you’re sharing it around, but I’ll admit I’ve made it halfway through the bottle myself without realising. It’s easy to drink and doesn’t feel too heavy, which I like. Only thing I noticed recently is the taste seems a little different—turns out they’ve reduced the sugar and added sweeteners. It’s not a massive change, but if you’ve been drinking it for a while like I have, you’ll probably notice it. Overall, Mountain Dew Energised is a fun, fizzy option when I want something with a bit more zing than regular soft drinks. Not something I’d have every day, but definitely one I keep coming back to.

Bought the Mountain Dew original 1.25L from Coles as it was 1/2 price. MD is always one of my favourites. Great unique taste comparing to other soda. However it is high in caffeine - not suitable for long term consumption.

Mountain Dew is one of our go to soft drinks, it is good for the occasional drink at dinner time and is always a hit, the only thing that would make it better is if it was a no sugar version of it to make it a slightly healthier option

Mountain Dew Energized soft drink is one of my favorite soda drink. I always bought this especially when it's discounted the price. Not just one or two. For some soda drinks stocks at home. Every time I want it I have it already. Ready to Energized my thirst. Highly recommended.

If you want something other than your usual. Coke lemonade or orange.flavour then mountain dew is the way to go. Hard to describe.its taste but very refreshing .

By far my favourite drink. I've always liked mountain dew, but since finding the no sugar variant, I drink nothing else. There's a noticeable difference in flavour between cans and bottles. I find it in cans to taste better. It takes some searching around to find it in cans tho. I'd prefer it had less caffeine (it's about double that of coke no sugar), but it's not a show stopper for me.
