A fresh, lighter expression of Viognier from one of the world's leading Viognier winemakers. The vine cuttings depicted on the label are the beginnings of the new vineyard, planted after carefully sorting and grafting new vines in our state-of-the-art Yalumba Nursery. Bright yellow straw in colour, the Yalumba Y Series Viognier exhibits an alluring mix of honeysuckle, candied ginger and glace pineapple aromas, which are typical of this exotic variety. In the mouth the palate has flavours of fresh pineapple and dried figs. It is finely balanced with silky texture from wild fermentation and lees aging.
