Don't know why but I initially expected these to taste like twiggy sticks. They're very dry, and despite their love for regular sized sliced salami, these were not a hit with the kids. So they won't be a regular in snack in our lunchboxes for school. To describe as best I can; it was like eating a salami, that was made the same way salami usually is, only it was taken out much later than other salami would; the longer it was kept in the cooking/dehydrating process, the more it shrank; the smaller it became, the dryer and tougher it became. It was hard to finish just one.
